Mitchell Bridal from Sydney’s Closet

Last September, at Bridal Week Harrogate, I discovered Sydney’s Closet, an award-winning designer from the USA dedicated exclusively to creating fashion-forward wedding dresses for curvy brides. What initially drew me to their stand were the confident and beautiful curvy models wearing their latest collections. While many bridal designers offer sizes up to 28 but use standard-size models to display their collections, Sydney’s Closet goes above and beyond by showcasing real curvy models in their dresses with sizes up to 40. This allowed me to see firsthand how the dresses fit and flatter our curvy brides.

This July, I had the pleasure of meeting Nina, the new UK regional manager of Sydney’s Closet. Nina, a passionate curvy ambassador (you can find her online profile here) and former curvy model with years of industry experience, invited me to visit their new UK warehouse. During our meeting, she shared invaluable insights and helped us select some of their best-selling dresses for our brides. Her expertise and enthusiasm were a tremendous asset for us.
